"I recently had Trinity Veneers placed on my teeth, and I love them. Before, my teeth were very short and not as bright as I wanted them. I didn’t necessarily hate how they looked but I just didn’t love them.

"My teeth were perfectly healthy so I didn’t like the idea of cutting away at them.  The sound of the drill and the thought of them giving me a shot in the gums didn’t really thrill me.  So, when I learned about New Horizon’s Trinity Veneers, I was very interested.  I thought that a veneer that adhered directly to my current teeth, without the need for drilling or shots was to good to be true!  Surely, these veneers would be bulky or look really fake.

"Dr. Guy built prototypes for me to wear and critique before he had the veneers made.  I had the freedom to choose how my teeth would look and the best is, my teeth are stronger now because they didn’t have to remove any part of my teeth.  Anyway, I absolutely love my Trinity’s and would recommend them to anyone.  It was amazingly easy.  I haven’t stopped smiling since I got them!"

Kathleen's story is coming soon

For as long as she can remember, Chris Smith had a large gap between her front teeth, with an off-center midline. The older she got, the more self-conscious she became. Chris went through orthodontics twice as a teenager, and even tried a permanent retainer attached to the inside of her teeth, but to no avail.

The gap always returned, which was very disappointing, particularly because she “followed doctor’s orders” and was diligent about wearing about her retainer.

Chris soon took another route in her dental journey. Composite bonding was placed that would close the gap. This turned out to be a short-term solution because eventually the bonding stained and wouldn’t whiten with professional whitening gels. Chris was back to being self-conscious and was desperate for another solution.

Chris and the New Horizons Team began to discuss a plan. They knew how important it was for Chris to be able to smile freely and confidently and also knew that removing perfectly healthy tooth structure was a concern for Chris. Minimally Invasive Veneers seemed like the perfect solution. Minimally Invasive Veneers would not only whiten and permanently close the space between her two front teeth, but would strengthen her teeth because the veneers are placed directly over existing tooth structure. The best part: No noisy drilling or painful numbing!

The more she thought about it, the more interested she became. She was also particularly happy to learn of the convenient payment plans offered by New Horizons. Ultimately, Chris decided on the Minimally Invasive Veneers as a permanent, long-lasting solution to her problems that would whiten, correct her midline concern, close her gap and strengthen her teeth!

Now that Chris has the confidence and smile she’s always dreamed of, she’s smiling brighter and more often than ever before!

At New Horizons, we have undergone advanced training and certification in order to provide you with sedation dentistry. We know that there are many people who avoid dental care because of fear or anxiety and thankfully, sedation is a relaxing way to help these individuals ... just like our patient Kristin.

Kristin was unhappy with her teeth. She was constantly hiding them from everyone and wanted so badly to have just one picture where she was smiling with confidence. But, Kristin was one of those people who avoided going to the dentist. She had heard about sedation dentistry, but didn't know of any local practices that offered this option ... until she found us.

Kristin came to us, a little apprehensive, but ready to fix her smile. We worked with her to develop a treatment plan that included 6 Trinity Veneers on her top teeth, which would strengthen her teeth, beautify, and conserve natural tooth structure, and prepared her for what to expect from sedation. After taking the prescribed medication an hour before her appointment, Kristin's husband brought her to our office. After getting Kristin a blanket and setting up her preferred TV channel, we then used nitrous oxide (a.k.a. laughing gas) to help her relax before giving her the sedation pill. All she remembers after that is her husband driving her home! Now Kristin uses nitrous oxide for every visit and considers her new smile as "the best money I've ever spent!".

Now Kristin is more confident, loves her smile, and is always ready to have her picture taken.

Did you know that 60% of men and 40% of women over the age of 60
snore? At New Horizons Dental Care we're acutely aware that our patients'
dental health is connected to their overall health, and with this knowledge
can improve a patient's life forever! Judy came to see us because, in her
words, "I was never happy with my smile. I always had brownish spotted
teeth, even as a child, and was sensitive about it
. I'm also a grinder, and

noticed my teeth getting shorter."

During Judy's appointment to lengthen her teeth and remove the brown spots, she was sedated. Dr. Guy noticed during the procedure that Judy's blood oxygen level was below normal, and she seemed to struggle for air. Dr. Guy had Judy undertake a sleep test at home, which confirmed that she suffered from severe sleep apnea, which is associated with an increased risk of death. In fact, it revealed that Judy actually stopped breathing 58 times an hour for 10 seconds or more.

Judy now uses a CPAP machine which restores normal sleep, improves daytime alertness, reduces anxiety and improves concentration and memory. In Judy's words, "No other doctor had ever caught that. I'm so excited to get my life back and get a good night's rest... And my new smile makes me look and feel 30 years younger! It's very subtle. My teeth look natural, and people who really know me have mentioned how great and pretty they look." At New Horizons Dental Care we treat sleep apnea, snoring, and bite problems that can cause sleep loss, head pain, and worse. If you suffer from any of these problems, or if you're interested in improving your smile, please call today for a complimentary consultation appointment.
