Knocked-out tooth
Pick it up by the crown — never the root. Don't scrub it. If it's clean, gently place it back in the socket; if not, tuck it inside your cheek or keep it in milk. Then call us right away. The first hour matters most.
Severe toothache
Rinse with warm salt water and floss gently to clear anything trapped between teeth. Use over-the-counter pain relief as directed on the label. Never place aspirin directly on the gum — it burns the tissue. Then call us.
Facial or jaw swelling
Hold a cold compress to the outside of your face, 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off. Swelling can signal an infection that needs prompt attention, so call us today.
