Kenzi says her main responsibility is to educate patients on healthy oral habits and home care, and to help them maintain their optimum oral health by cleaning the teeth and getting rid of infection in the gum tissues. She followed in the footsteps of her grandmother, who was also a dental hygienist.
Kenzi grew up in a small town in western KS, but moved with her husband to Salina a few years ago. She has an Associate’s degree in Applied Science from Garden City Community College, and an Associate’s degree in Science from Johnson County Community College. Of her job, Kenzi says, “I love that we are a great team. I grew up playing a lot of sports, so teamwork has always been important to me. Our team has a mentality that is a perfect blend of working hard and staying on task as well as having a great time while we do it!”
When she’s not focusing on patient education, Kenzi is taking a trip out to Wilson Lake with her family and doing some boating, wake boarding, and tubing in beautiful weather, or trying to figure out which amazing restaurant in Salinas to enjoy dinner at with her husband.
