Stephanie is responsible for education patients on their state of oral health, appropriate at-home care, and the benefits of keeping their regularly scheduled appointments with the dentist. “The best part of my job? That great feeling you get when a patient says you’ve changed their life. It’s my favorite thing about my career.”
Born in Inman, Kansas, and currently living in Salina, Stephanie says her moment of truth came when she was flossing her high school boyfriend’s teeth for him and realized she wished there was a job flossing teeth for a living. “No, really!” she says. “I went home and asked my mom. Turns out there was a job like that, and that’s how I ended up a dental hygienist. True story.” Stephanie earned her Associate’s degree in Applied Science and Dental Hygiene from Colby Community College.
When she’s not fulfilling her goal of keeping teeth and gums healthy, Stephanie can be found spending time with her husband, Jason, and the couple’s son, Ike. She loves crafting and being outdoors. Stephanie believes in giving back and participated in Smiles for Life in 2014 in the Dominican Republic.
