Our family oriented dental practice in Salina, KS is dedicated to improving and restoring smiles through leading dental techniques including state-of-the-art dental implants.

When you call our office, we will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you are experiencing pain or have an emergency situation, we will do our best to book you in the same day.

Your First Visit

Your initial visit in our office will take approximately 90 minutes. A designated team member will welcome you into our office and make you feel at home. You’ll get a quick tour of our facility, and be seated in our comfortable reception area and offered refreshments.

Your dentist will review your past dental and medical history, and ask the dental assistant to take any needed x-rays to be added to your files. One of our hygienists will perform an initial exam and cleaning, and discuss the state of your oral health with you while answering any questions you may have.

The dentist will follow up with his or her own examination of your teeth and gums, and then you’ll be invited into the consultation room to discuss your dental care. The doctor will present you with a personalized treatment plan and explain your options. If further treatment is required before your next regularly scheduled cleaning, an appointment will be set.

Scheduling

Our office team works hard to schedule adequate time for each appointment, so each patient gets the attention they deserve and our schedule stays on track throughout the day. Our goal is for your wait time to be as short as possible. That said, emergencies do occur, treatments can take longer than planned due to unforeseen complications, and sometimes a patient needs a little more of the dentist’s time.

We appreciate your understanding and patience should an appointment scheduled prior to your own take longer than anticipated. Please know that you will be extended the same care and attention during your own appointment! Our patients always come first.

If you need help filling out the forms, simply plan to arrive 15-20 minutes early for your first appointment, and one of our team members will be happy to assist you!

Medical Health History

Bring your identification, insurance information, any past dental records and/or x-rays, relevant medical records, and a list of any medications you are taking (including prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, and herbal supplements or vitamins.)

Our team needs to know specifically if you are on certain medications including those for heart conditions, aspirin, and anticoagulants. Please tell us if you have a history of diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves or joints, rheumatic fever, or any other serious medical condition.
